We designed the Regent for the part of a man's wardrobe that gets the least attention and matters the most — the trouser you wear when you can't wear jeans and don't want to wear a suit. Something that works in a meeting, at dinner, on a long flight, on a Saturday. Not tailored enough to look formal. Not casual enough to look thrown-on. The trouser that lets everything else you're wearing do the talking.

The Fabric.
Premium matte viscose. A plant-derived fibre with the drape of silk and the weight of a fine wool — which is why it holds a tailored line without feeling stiff, and moves without creasing. The finish is deliberately matte, not shiny. Wears cooler than wool in summer, warmer than cotton in winter. Softens with wear.

The Colour.
Warm medium grey. Not cold and corporate, not soft and washed — the grey a well-cut suit trouser used to be, before everyone forgot how to make it. Pairs cleanly with white, ivory, black, deep blue, and any of OMAY's browns and stones.

The Cut.
Mid-rise waist. Clean front, no pleats. Tailored through the waist and hip, relaxed through the leg. Falls straight to the ankle. Full break if you want it, cropped if you cuff it. Wear it with a brown leather loafer, a leather sandal, or a white sneaker.

Fit.
True to size. If you're between two sizes, size down. Length varies by size — see the size guide for exact measurements. If you need extra length, write to support@omaystudio.in and we can add up to an inch before dispatch.

Care.
Gentle machine wash, cold, inside out. Line dry in shade. Iron on low heat, inside out. Handle viscose like you would silk — it rewards the care.
